This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, why we do so, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights. It complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This translation is provided for information. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

Data we collect
We only collect the information strictly necessary for the requests you send us. Depending on the form used, this means:
- Online valuation: property type, location, size, general condition, optional photograph, first name, last name, email and phone number.
- Contact request: first name, last name, email, phone, subject of the request and content of your message.
- Off-market qualification: identity, indicative purchasing capacity, search criteria, electronic signature of a confidentiality agreement.
- Newsletter or Observatory sign-up: email address, and your search criteria if you provide them.
- Technical data: visit statistics collected without cookies (pages viewed, device type), aggregated and anonymous.
Purposes of processing
Your data is processed exclusively to:
- Respond to your request (valuation, viewing, contact, off-market).
- Establish and perform a brokerage mandate, where applicable.
- Send you, with your consent, our editorial Carnet or opportunities matching your criteria.
- Improve the usability and relevance of the website through aggregated visit statistics.
- Comply with our legal and accounting obligations.
The legal bases are, as the case may be, your consent, the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, our legitimate interest in promoting our services, and compliance with our legal obligations.
Retention period
We keep your data for the time strictly necessary for the purposes described above, then delete or anonymise it, unless a longer legal retention obligation applies (in particular tax and accounting, ten years under Swiss law).
You may at any time request early deletion of your data at info@ci-leman.ch.
Recipients & processors
We do not sell or rent your data to third parties. To run this website and our client relationship, we use the following providers, selected for their compliance:
- Web hosting: Vercel Inc., United States.

- Content management and database: Payload CMS, with a database hosted by Supabase.
- Client relationship tools: Apimo, our real estate business software.
- Audience measurement: Plausible Analytics, a cookie-free tool that collects only aggregated and anonymous statistics.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers outside the European Union and Switzerland are governed by standard contractual clauses compliant with the GDPR and recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

This website does not display a cookie banner, for a simple reason: it does not place any advertising or tracking cookies without action on your part. Our audience measurement (Plausible) works without cookies and produces only aggregated and anonymous statistics.
- Essential cookies: necessary for the website to function (session, form security). They do not require your consent.
- Consent cookie: if you tick the box consenting to advertising tracking in a form, a cookie remembers this choice for 180 days. Without it, no data is sent to Meta.
You can change your choice at any time by deleting the cookies in your browser.

Under the Swiss FADP and the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- access and information,
- rectification of inaccurate data,
- erasure (the “right to be forgotten”),
- restriction of and objection to processing,
- portability,
- withdrawal of your consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, write to us at info@ci-leman.ch enclosing proof of identity. We will reply within thirty days.
If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may refer the matter to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland, or to the competent supervisory authority in your Member State of residence for European Union nationals.
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, alteration and unauthorised access (TLS encryption, access restricted to authorised staff).
