Living on Geneva's Left Bank

Geneva's Left Bank has a character of its own. Between Eaux-Vives and Champel, you move from lively quays to quiet streets lined with high-end buildings.

Eaux-Vives

The Eaux-Vives neighbourhood has changed a great deal since the arrival of the station. Its shops, cafés and proximity to the lake make it a lively place, popular with families and working people alike.

Champel

Champel has a more residential atmosphere. Large apartment buildings, gardens and the nearby hospitals make for a peaceful and sought-after neighbourhood.

A way of life

Beyond the figures, the Left Bank is something you experience. The light on the lake, the terraces in spring, the weekend markets make for a pleasant daily life for those who love the city without its bustle.
