A lakeside village on the Right Bank, between Bellevue and Versoix: calm, vineyards, properties with views over the harbour and Mont Blanc.
Genthod covers just a few kilometres on the right bank of the lake, between Bellevue to the south and Versoix to the north. It has remained a residential municipality, where people come for calm and proximity to the water without moving away from the city. The heart of the village has kept its main street and historic buildings, with a few shops and restaurants. The municipality still has working farms and a vineyard, which explains the feeling of countryside so close to Geneva. The lakeshore remains its main asset. Genthod is first and foremost a market of villas and detached properties: old manor houses, lakeside retreats and more recent homes on the upper slopes of the municipality. Plots are scarce and properties rarely change hands. The view, lake access and building zone weigh heavily on value.
A village street and historic buildings, vineyards and estates with mature parks, water access and views over the harbour and the Jura: Genthod cultivates residential discretion a short distance from the centre.

Yes. Genthod has two Léman Express stops, Genthod-Bellevue and Creux-de-Genthod, which put central Geneva a short distance away. The Route de Suisse runs along the lake and links the municipality to Versoix and then the city.
