A small rural municipality on the Left Bank, in the east of the canton, between cultivated fields and vineyards, a quarter of an hour from the centre.
Choulex is a small municipality on Geneva's Left Bank, in the countryside of the east of the canton. The territory, mostly agricultural, brings together the localities of Choulex, Chevrier and Bonvard, neighbouring Meinier and Presinge. Its rural character shapes the whole landscape, between fields, vineyards and country lanes. The village has kept its historic scale, away from the main roads, in a calm and green setting. The housing stock is dominated by detached houses, from farms and village houses to more recent villas. Building land remains scarce, which makes transactions infrequent and each property relatively distinctive.
Paths between crops and vineyards, the hamlets of Chevrier and Bonvard, the calm of a village away from the main roads: Choulex offers a rural setting a short distance from the urban Left Bank.
