A rural municipality in the east of the canton, backing onto the Bois de Jussy, the largest forest in the canton, among hamlets, fields and Geneva's highest point.
Jussy occupies the east of Geneva's Left Bank, where the countryside meets large wooded areas. The municipality brings together several hamlets, including Jussy, Monniaz, Lullier and Sionnet, and is home, at Monniaz, to the highest point in the canton of Geneva. The Bois de Jussy, the largest forest in the canton, shapes the territory and the municipality's identity. The Lullier horticultural centre, with its park open to the public and its training role, adds a particular dimension to this rural, wooded setting. The housing stock is dominated by detached houses, from old village houses and farms to more recent villas spread across the hamlets. Land is scarce in this municipality, where forest and farming frame the built-up area, which spaces out transactions.
Trails in the Bois de Jussy, the park of the Lullier horticultural centre, fields and hamlets away from the main roads: Jussy offers a rare rural and wooded setting in the east of the canton.

The market is dominated by detached houses: old village houses, farms and more recent villas in the hamlets. Forest and farming frame the built-up area and limit the land available, which makes sales infrequent.
