One of the most populous communes in the canton, on the Left Bank, bringing together Grand-Lancy and Petit-Lancy, from the Pont-Rouge urban hub to quiet residential streets.
Lancy is one of the most populous communes in the canton of Geneva, on the Left Bank, south-west of the city. It is the commune where our agency is based, on the Route du Grand-Lancy. It groups the localities of Grand-Lancy and Petit-Lancy, separated by the Aire valley, as well as the La Praille sector. The commune has very different faces: quiet residential streets and parks such as Marignac or Navazza-Oltramare on one side, denser pieces of city on the other. The Pont-Rouge hub, around the station, has given rise to a recent district combining housing, offices, shops and public spaces. The property stock is varied: residential buildings from different eras, detached and semi-detached villas on residential streets, and recent developments concentrated around Pont-Rouge, part of which is public-interest housing. An older apartment, a villa with a garden and a new home near the station are not valued in the same way.
Marignac and Navazza-Oltramare parks, the public spaces of Pont-Rouge, low-rise housing alongside contemporary buildings: Lancy offers several residential atmospheres depending on the neighbourhood, between Grand-Lancy and Petit-Lancy.

Lancy is the commune; Grand-Lancy and Petit-Lancy are its two localities, separated by the Aire valley. Grand-Lancy is home to the Pont-Rouge hub and Marignac park, while Petit-Lancy is closer to the city of Geneva. Each sector keeps its own identity and its own market.
Yes. The commune has the Lancy-Pont-Rouge and Lancy-Bachet stations on the Léman Express, several tram lines, including the 15 and 17, and numerous bus lines. The Pont-Rouge hub has made it a sector very well connected to the centre of Geneva.
